Anyone that has seen “Bigger, Stronger, Faster” knows that steroids really have know point to be illegal. O big bad steroids, they turn people into “RAGE MACHINES”
So ok they kill people? Yea ok, 3 people die from steroids every year compared to cigarettes and alcohol that number is nothing. MORE PEOPLE DIE FROM MULTI-VITAMINS A YEAR!!!
What constitutes a “Performance Enhancer”? You look around at all these supplements and your saying “Can this really be good for you?”
So alright, going to take steroids just like Barry Bonds did and be able to hit 700 home runs right? NO!! Barry Bonds trained harder than anyone to deserve that reward!

Steriods are illegal because first of all, they are unsafe to use. Secondly, its not fair to the other athletes who are steriod free. Yes, Barry Bonds trained harder…while on steriods. If every player who trained as hard as him had the help of steriods, their total homeruns would rival his. So thats why they are illegal, unhealthy and unfair in sporting competitions.
EDIT: Many recreational users are unaware of the dosage they should be taking. Many overuse which leads to health problems. So any drug that causes health problems is eventually made illegal, for the sake of our health.
